She directs the research and teaching in Neuroethics at the Center for Research Ethics & Bioethics. She conducted her doctoral studies in Philosophy at the University of Oxford, the Australian National University in Canberra and the Lund University, Sweden. She was the Executive Director of the Standing Committee on Responsibility and Ethics in Science (SCRES) of the International Council for Science (ICSU). She was invited Professor at Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris 2002, and at CollÚge de France, Paris 2006-2007. The areas in which Evers primarily works as a researcher are: Responsibility and Ethics in Science, Codes and Guidelines for the scientists, Neurophilosophy and Neuroethics.
