Short bio:
Eric Racine did his postdoctoral training in neuroethics at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics and previously studied bioethics, philosophy and social sciences at the University of Ottawa and the University of Montreal.
Dr. Racine is an associate editor of the peer review journal Neuroethics, was a member of the scientific committee of the first meeting of the Neuroethics Society and is a member of the planning committee of the first Canadian neuroethics conference “Brain matters: New directions in neuroethics”.¸
The Neuroethics Research Unit that he leads is committed to training a new generation of students and researchers in neuroethics through the conduct of collaborative interdisciplinary research.
The results of his research have been published in prestigious journals such as Nature Reviews Neuroscience and the American Journal of Bioethics.

Cenni biografici:
Eric Racine ha effettuato un postdoc in Neuroetica presso lo Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics. In precedenza ha effettuato studi di bioetica, filosofia e scienze sociali presso l’Università di Ottawa e l’Università di Montreal.
Racine è co-redattore della rivista Neuroethics, sottoposta a peer-review, è stato membro del comitato scientifico del primo congresso della Neuroethics Society ed è membro del comitato di pianificazione della prima conferenza di neuroetica in Canada: “Brain matters: New directions in neuroethics” (“Il cervello conta: nuovi indirizzi nella neuroetica”).
La Neuroethics Research Unit , da lui diretta, si impegna ad addestrare una nuova generazione di studenti e ricercatori nel campo della neuroetica, attraverso la conduzione di ricerche nella forma di collaborazione interdisciplinare.
I risultati delle sue ricerche sono stati pubblicati da prestigiose riviste come Nature Reviews Neuroscience e American Journal of Bioethics.
