Last October 2-3 the Luca Coscioni Association and the World Congress for freedom of scientific research took part in the StemCellSummit to be held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA, USA. The summit was organized among others by the Genetics Policy Institute whose founder and Executive Director Bernard Siegel is an active partner of the permanent World Congress and one of the most appreciated speakers of the first meeting in Rome. During the summit in Stanford (2006) Marco Cappato on behalf of the Luca Coscioni Association was granted the International Advocacy and Policy Award. This year the association and the World Congress have been represented by prof. Andrea Boggio, who teaches ethics at the Bryant University, is member of the Luca Coscioni Association and one of its points of presence in Boston.
