I have a PhD in Pharmacology and have been Senior European Correspondent for Nature in Munich for over 20 years. I write for different sections of Nature including editorials, news, features and the books and arts pages. Many of my articles are about science politics in Europe, particularly Germany and Italy. My specialist topic is neuroscience but I also cover other aspects of biology and health.
