Eighteenth Session of IBC on human cloning. The eighteenth (ordinary) session of the International Bioethics Committee of UNESCO (IBC) will be held in Baku (Azerbaijan), from 31 May to 2 June 2011. Three main topics will be at the heart of this session: the principle of respect for human vulnerability and personal integrity, as set forth in article 8 of the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights(2005); the issue of human cloning and international governance; and the issue of traditional medicine and its ethical implications
